LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Hollywood is keeping the people of Japan in their thoughts and prayers following the 8.9-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that wrecked havoc on the Pacific island nation.
“I’m sending my thoughts and prayers and love to those in Japan who are
hurting,” Taylor Swift Tweeted Friday morning.
“The images on the news are breaking my heart. I am so worried for everyone
in Japan. My thoughts are with you Japan. God bless you all,”Paris Hilton-Twitter-

Katy Perry asked her Twitter followers to keep the people affected in their thoughts, Tweeting,
“My prayers go out to anyone that is being effected by the disaster in Japan…

“Praying for everyone in Japan. And praying that West Coasters will be okay,”

Jimmy Kimmel sent a slew of Tweets while on vacation in the middle of the Pacific.
“I am on an island in French Polynesia, glued to CNN,” he Tweeted Friday
morning. “thanks to those who sent good wishes – this is crazy… thanks again
for the concern – I am now worried others will worry if I don’t tweet… we are
