(LOS ANGELES) The sun was beaming brightly on Wednesday afternoon as Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel hosted an intimate ladies luncheon at Fig + Olive to celebrate swimsuit season. While guests noshed on a delicious spread including fresh delights like tuna carpaccio, savory crostinis, vegetable salads, mushroom penne pasta and plenty more, the gorgeous girls kept spirits high with plenty of inspiring supermodel words of encouragement for bikini buyers everywhere.

“Ladies, you’ve got to try the stringkini! It’s amazing for tanning. It’s tiny; it shows a lot of skin and, of course, it’s super sexy. It can be embellished, or there’s also one with lace. It makes your butt look amazing,” offered Ambrosio with a wide grin. Keeping with the sexy mindset, Swanepoel, who cited neon colors as her favorite swimwear trend this season, wisely reminded everyone that the new Miraculous tops increase the bust by two cup sizes (“You can get a lot of cleavage…a lot!” she urged); but also recommended the often-overlooked monokini styles for gals that don’t want to bare it all, but still want to show a little skin.

And finally, Lima, who has been with the brand for 11 years and counting, smartly suggested the Bikini Mixer tool online. “It’s genius! You can mix and match styles, colors and sizes…whatever you like! I love animal prints and embellishments right now. Victoria’s Secret has different styles, fabrics and colors for every woman and every body type. In my point of view, it’s not about the type of body you have—but how comfortable you are with it, I’ve always had problems with bikinis that are too big on the bottom or too small on the top, and now I can customize it for my shape,” she said.

As for her famous figure, the model, who cites healthy eating and regular exercise as her keys to success, confessed, “I have a plan! I want to be the Angel that’s been with the brand the longest! Let’s hope my body keeps up with my dream!”
